We offer personalised online run coaching and run specific strength training programs by coach and endurance athlete, Amanda. All programs are designed and created with your current ability, life commitments and goals in mind.

Amanda works with beginner athletes and those who identify as non-runners, through to competitive minded athletes. Any distance can be coached from a 5km parkrun, ultra-marathon and multi-day endurance events.

Planted Life encourages and guides you to explore new ground in your Training | Nutrition | Mindset by offering all three modules to work in harmony to help achieve your goals and fuel your fitness drive.

Upcoming Race Alert – Five Peaks 58km Ultra⁠

It’s been four years since I last tackled this beast of a course. One big reason I tend to skip it? The unpredictable, unseasonably hot weather. I don't perform well in the heat.⁠
⁠
With temps forecasted in the low 30s, this year’s race will be all about respecting the conditions and running smart. My goal: get from start to finish safely and comfortably.⁠
⁠
This time, I’m not racing – I’m running. I’ll be side by side with a dear friend who asked for my support out there. Still, this course deserves nothing less than my full attention. So here’s my plan:⁠
⁠
✔️ Prioritise hydration, especially sodium and mineral replenishment⁠
✔️ Adjust pace based on effort, not speed – especially on the climbs⁠
✔️ Wear light, breathable gear and plenty of sunscreen⁠
✔️ Stay alert to body signals – dizziness, nausea, cramps, anything off⁠
⁠
Every race is different. Your strategy should be too.⁠
⁠
Be adaptable. Be willing to pivot if needed.⁠
⁠
