Take Twenty-Five – Year Two Thousand and Twenty Five
I took a moment. A moment too think where I wanted each day to go as I move through the new year. I didn’t draw a line in the sand on the 1st January, I drew the line months prior but it seems to mean more around this time of year.
My Planted Life List
- Notice your body upon waking; connect with the whole body by mind and breath
- Take a conscious breathe, inhale deeply, exhale softly
- Move with a mindful intention
- Remember happiness and joy for the day is a choice
- Avoid stimulants for at least the first 2 hours of consciousness
- Consume life giving foods
- Hurry slowly
- Be at peace with your place and decisions
- Take responsibility for the energy you bring into the space
- Make everyday actions meaningful
- Recognise and accept that you will always want more
- Narrow your attention and focus
- Do something that surprises you each day
- Congratulate yourself when doing an action that moves you towards a goal
- Say I love you often to those who are a part of your world
- Just be, even if it is for 1 minute a day
- Embrace the effort when nourishing yourself from the inside out
- Support those who align with your authentic self
- Eat foods from the ground up from a planted heritage
- Occupy the mind with entertainment that makes you a better person
- Find humour and light amongst the darkness
- Set your intention for the day ahead the night before
- Give yourself up to bed
- Share a loving kindness practice with yourself and others
- Close your eyes ready to wake when the body mind is ready
